2012: ACMI Lease of 3 Boeing B737-300 for the Football African Cup of Nations, CAN ORANGE 2012 Edition
2017: ACMI lease of 1 Boeing B737-300 for the football African Cup of Nations, CAN TOTAL 2017 Edition
May 2020 : Riposte COVID-19 / COVID-19 relief efforts: Repatriation flights for an International Institution of 3 employees stranded in Gabon, from Gabon to Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroun and Congo.
May 2020 : COVID-19 relief effort: Repatriation flights for Gabonese citizens stranded abroad (May 21, 22nd and 23rd 2020) : 7 flights from 13 different countries, mobilising 5 airlines, for a total of 617 gabonese citizens repatriated
October 2020: Cargo flights for the delivery of the material for transmitting the electoral results for the presidential election of 31st octobre 2020 in Côte d’Ivoire, for the PNUD – CI (United Nations Development Progam - Côte d’Ivoire).
November 2021: Delivery of an OGP Helicopter Dolphin 365 N3 to an operator in Central Africa, on a 4 years dry lease contract.

Our key dates

Establishment of VMS AERO

VMS AERO took flight in 2002 as a consultancy firm serving other companies, specializing in the sale of aircraft spare parts.

Government Advisory Services

In 2005, we made a bold move by elevating our service level to that of an independent entity. Successfully negotiating a major contract with the Armenian government gave us a significant boost.

Global Service Expansion

Between 2007 and 2008, we proudly facilitated the journeys of numerous pilgrims to Mecca. VMS AERO provided aircrafts on demand through various companies in Asia, Africa, and Europe such as Euromeriditerranean Airline, Air Slovaquie, Futura Group, Euro Atlantic, and Afriquiyah. This expansion led VMS AERO to experience remarkable growth, broadening its global operations in aircraft sales, dry and wet leasing.

Partnership with AFCON ORANGE

In 2012, we secured a contract to provide services for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) organized by Gabon.

Chartering of a C130 Cargo Aircraft

We chartered a Hercule C130 cargo aircraft for the 2016 presidential election campaign.

Chartering Boeing B737

We chartered multiple Boeing B737 aircraft to serve as the official carrier during the AFCON ORANGE 2012 and AFCON TOTAL 2017 editions.

Establishment in Gabon and International Expansion

Despite our longstanding activity in Gabon and Africa, we decided to officially establish ourselves in the country in 2020. In addition, we expanded our presence to Canada, the United Kingdom, and Dubai to further enhance our global footprint.
